Eve’s Women in Leadership – Meet Wendy
Please describe your job title and your responsibilities at Eve & Co?
My role here at Eve is as Assistant Grower. My focus is on our mature plants, I track all of our plants through the flowering phase of growth until harvest. I collect and chart data from each lot to ensure that we are always hitting our targets and focusing on quality.
I coordinate with our production teams to make sure that we are harvesting our flowers at the peak of health and maturity.
- What is your favourite part of your job?
I work with the best team we have a great time together and play to each others’ strengths. I take a lot of pride in my work and find it very rewarding.
2. What woman inspires you and why?
I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by strong women my entire life. My mom, my grandmothers, my mother-in-law. They inspire me to be true to myself and stand my ground.
3. What was the best vacation you’ve been on?
My husband and I bought a travel trailer a couple of years ago. Every time we hook up the trailer is the best time!
4. What is your favourite quote?
“Stay strong, make them wonder how you are still smiling.”
5. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Poutine. Not even a contest!
