Eve’s Take on International Women’s Day 2021 – Dave

Please tell us about your role at Eve & Co.

Water and irrigation are my main responsibilities.

The theme for IWD 2021 is “Choose to Challenge”, what do you choose to challenge?

I choose to challenge gender equality and given our company’s unique niche, I feel that we’re really doing as much as we can to be at the forefront of that, especially in our place of work.

Who is one of your role models?

My colleagues, the assisting growers, they’re all very successful in what they do. I feel they are highly organized and can remember little details that worked well in the past and I admire them especially for these great attributes.

What does it mean to empower women to you?

When they look out for each other and support one another, in the work place and in life in general.

If you could leave one piece of advice, a quote or a message to woman-kind, what would it be?

It’s okay to have an ‘off day’ but it’s great to go out of your way to ask if there’s anything you can do to help others.
