Eve’s Take on International Women’s Day 2021 – Brittany

Meet Brittany, a Data Controller at Eve & Co.

Please tell us about your role at Eve & Co.

I am the data controller. I record our inventory, plants, packaged goods, and keep track of it all.

The theme for IWD 2021 is “Choose to Challenge”, what do you choose to challenge?

I choose to challenge mental health, I feel like that’s something I’ve struggled with personally and I want to help other women kick it in the butt.

Who is one of your role models?

My mom, she will always be my role model. She has her own struggles, but she always manages to keep it together while being so positive. She says, at the end of the day you’re the only person that can improve your life and make yourself happy, I’ve always looked up to her for that and her incredible strength.

What does it mean to empower women to you?

Accepting and including all women while having the power to make our own choices in life.

If you could leave one piece of advice, a quote or a message to woman-kind, what would it be?

When women support each other, incredible things happen!
