Meet Paula, an Archivist at Eve & Co.

Please tell us about your role at Eve & Co.

My job is to keep track of the plants from seed to harvest.

The theme for IWD 2021 is “Choose to Challenge”, what do you choose to challenge?

I choose to challenge mental health as it is something that’s very important to me.

Who is one of your role models?

Janis Joplin, she was a free spirit in her time, if it felt good she did it, but she also had her own struggles. I am inspired by how she lived her life to the fullest.

What does it mean to empower women to you?

We need to support each other in decisions that are made and be happy no matter the outcomes. We shouldn’t ever put down someone striving to make their lives better – but encourage them and support them no matter what.

If you could leave one piece of advice, a quote or a message to woman-kind, what would it be?

Life is too short, live for the moment because tomorrow is never promised.
